Hello again
Carrying on from my earlier post about a bent crank, has anyone heard of Stronglight 85s, the writing on my set has faded quite badly but I can just about make out Stronlight 85 along the length of the crank arm. I can't see a size written on them anywhere but I'm guessing they were 170mm?
Either way they came fitted to my 89 Peugeot Camargue Tourer and looking at other examples on the internet it appears they came as standard on this model. They have black chainrings 48/38T which remind me a bit of MTB rings, the gearing is quite low; brilliant for getting up hills but not so great for going flat out. I nearly max out in 12th gear. I'm thinking of swapping them out for some SR ones 52T big ring to get the ratio up.
Thank you all
