Had a moment today...

...Was in Portsmouth town centre,when a herbert rides past me on an old Specialized M2 (the purpley/pink and black Duralcan one?) with Accutrax on too!
All well and good,you may say,except the fact that there was one of those little side pull calipers on it (the type you see on bad BSO's) and a carrier bag covering the saddle. Made me think,some poor souls lost their pride and joy there,so that little scrote could ride it or swap it for a 'teenth.

A LOT of old bikes just get given away or sent to the tip ; the old owners no longer cared and the new ones just wanted a bike that worked for cheap .
