GT Zaskar Pic Request

the colour you are thinking of is called ink-blue and was available in 95.
most of the frames were built in late 94 as mine :D

and you are also correct in 96 when there was the red anodized there also was an ink blue ano zaskar but its colour was more darker and more purpleish than the 95 version.
had both frames :!:

frosted red and blue was also anodized and were the 97 models but they are not so shiny as the earlier ones and the dirt is not so good removable from the frame.

regards to all zaskarfaris

Thanks dude, that's the beasty. So is that just regular paint then? I loved the dark blue with the violet hues, gives the finish real depth :)

I think the one I remmeber had the down tube graphics removed.

Picture theives! That one with the yellow Judy was taken by me! Here it is in my Zaskar parade line up too. Now residing in Germany with Dr. Juggles.

OP....that's not paint...those are anodized colors

Those ink blue Zaskars still look as good as I remember, if I had some space cash I'd be on the look out for a 16" one now.

Just out of idle curiosity , were many made in ink blue, do they come up for sale very often, and how much would a frame/ full build fetch these days?

the real differences with zaskar and le came in 97 with cnc machined dropouts and headtube.

back in 95 the only difference was with the fully spec´d bikes.
zaskar with xt and zaskar le with xtr.
frames were the same.

but kevin aka gm will know better

cheers

Cheers, that's what I thought, but looking on bikepedia earlier tonight for the 95 Zaskar lists double butted tubes for the LE, but not the vanilla model. Must be a typo.
