hey all

started off with a broken incomplete frame from XCdave.

the frame came with a crack in the head tube which i had welded, not the neatest but i asked for it to be strong.

gave up polishing it so bead blasted it all over to give it a satin finish.

slowly build up part by part . its not a show off bike more summit to charge around on to have some fun.

could not find any u brake studs and had a few failed promises so asked the old man to make me some! so just waiting on the brakes now XT and we will be off.

will change the wheels soon and tinker a bit. any ideas on what the forks are? got them nos but no name? nice and light.

what ya reckon?

wow, yeah really liking that build   , is this the one you were in the process of building when we met the other week??? Any pics of the weld-up job, and out of interest who did you use for the bead-blasting of the frame??

No idea what the forks are, but they really suit it, IMO.

Nice useful tree too, btw

very sweet
like that a lot

forks look standard GT 3d ones
dont look like bologna cuts ,but hard to tell

 for a sec i thought you were holding the bike up with one hand by the handlebar! thinking wow, you're either super strong and/or the bike is super light!
