GT Timeberline ... the start of something.

It was not the bicycle I spect.
The thing is the Marin feels much better. The GT wheel set was cheap and feels cheap, the brakes ... are ok but nothing more. I fail with a Fake Alivio RD, bought in the fake factory of Aliexpress. So the bicycle for comute is ok, but for MTB not, it is not for me.
The Marin Team Issue has set a very high level. It is in mint condition ... well it looks new because near all is new (brake pads, all the drive train, all the wiring, tires etc and the originals parts has little use. So ... I don´t find a second classic bicycle that I like.
I have tried with the BH Topline- Grisley Mega. It looks amazing, the fork works and was serviced ... but againg cheap wheel set, the cantilevers brakes were awfull because they have cheap pads ... sold.
This GT the same history that ends ...sold.
To have a good performance in this GT or the BH I should change lot of stuff and put lot of money: A good wheel set, new drivetrain (casette, chain and find a good XT RD) new wiring, new tires, (I have put new BB, grips, brake levers crank set etc) and it will cost more money that what I have paid. It is not worth. My intention was to do some routes around 40km, but I was so slowly that ended with around 20km and took me one and a half hour ... the same with annother bicycle was 50 min.
