GT LTS 1 - nearly finished!

Had this frame around a year now... Finally got the last bits to finish the build. I know some of the colours are a bit eclectic but the bits were all bargains and the colours were secondary...

Pedals are purely to get me going and rear mech needs recabling. Also I need Gil to have some spare time to do some blue/yellow decals...

I'm well happy with the result and it rides superbly -best full susser i've been on.

Also, it proves if you're patient and source bargains this can still be a (reasonably) cheap hobby

Any comments welcome -

That blue is gorgeous, Im liking the cranks with gold spider and the judys.

Not so keen on the red hope at the front.

Don't do the yellow thing to much, might be overkill and distract from the beautiful shade of blue

Frame looks amazing, and I like the parts on it.

If it were mine I'd be tempted with v's but know I'd be in the minority on that front.

What do you think of the grips? Had some last year on my backwards and damn nearly shredded my hand. Not a lot of give on them bad boys unless I had a bad pair. Certainly not the best grips without gloves anyway.

To early to say yet on the grips - thet were cheap though

If I don't get on with them, they're easy enough to replace...

As for V's, I agree, will be on the look out for a nice set
