GT Karakoram K2 All Terra - 18 inch frame - 1989 - Rebuilt

That was the first vintage GT I bought it was a 22 inch frame and I sold that one for $500.00 as is.
This one now is a 18 inch but I bought only the frame and fork.
It had no components on it at all.
The bikes are similar in paint but not in frame size, two different bikes.
LOL :)

It might have been worth $200 if you had left it as it is with all the original components on it. With all that modern stuff on it now looks weird and you'll struggle to sell to either people who want a retro bike OR a modern bike, because it's neither. Sorry.

It would have been worth a lot more if you had tried to find some period correct parts for it imho.

Parts from the at least the correct decade would have been better!

I see what you did there, but you're more likely to realise your asking price if you were to split the bike and sell as frame & parts.

Unfortunately there will be a very small market for a retro frame with modern parts like that, the frame itself may well find a buyer, but the parts attached to it may well deter potential buyers of the complete bike at that price.

GLWS

I would be quite intersted in the frame and forks on their own at the right price but I need an 18" and that looks like a 16" to me. Gt's are measured centre of bb to centre of top tube if that helps. The measurement to the top of the seat tube will be about 20" is its a true 18" frame.
