GT Backwoods eBay. CHEAP Team Scream.

Thanks for the info GM, and I said it was 'kind of Team Scream'.

I have seen a complete bike in this scheme so figure it must have been
standard (perhaps only in Europe). I'm sure the flames are decals but
what the hell I like em.

Anyway, yes it's not GT's finest but for an aly frame in a nice colour
I reckon its pretty cheap. I figure I have enough spare parts to
build up a spare frame just for fun now and again so I can pick up
the odd frame and switch every couple of months.

It's cheaper than drugs and booze !

Bargain mate. My first bought bike and I had to put in a lot of hours to get one!

Mine was ball burnished though.

Been doing some detective work, I think it's a standard 1996 paintjob.
Was available in ball-burnished and 'blue'.

Looking at the 96 catalogue (on here in gallery) a lot of the mid level
bikes had flame design. The Aggressor, Tempest and Karakoram all
have two tone paint and flames but are only listed as one colour.

Similar 96 Tequesta (Chrisv40's pic).

Thought for the day - Never give up !

An idle half hour and some schoolboy German on google and I've finally
found ANOTHER one of these !!! So I was right this was the 'Blau' paintjob
from the 1996 German catalogue.

I am really liking the yellow forks (was gonna go blue), I'm going rigid on mine, luckily I haven't painted them yet.
