Retrobike Rider
My eldest stepson went for his first ride on his brand new birthday bike today.

And some f*cker nicked it.

Heaven help them if I find them.

 Really :?: You have thieving scum in worthing as well.........

I hope you get it back,or better still the thief gets what he deserves

He's 13, it was his first proper bike, a 2011 Cube Aim, thankfully covered by insurance but that's not the point! Understandably he's very upset, but hopefully getting a replacement will cheer him up....

P.s. Thanks to whoever it was ages ago who recommended M&S house insurance, they've been very helpful, as well as sympathetic!!

Poor lad!!!!!........

Bloody thieving b'stards

It is very sad to hear that, but I have been there myself, so I know, my first bike, a Raleigh Tomahawk got knicked within a few days of me getting it and it turned out to be a jealous pal. My dad saw his dad, I got bike back and I was banned from going near my pal after I exacted revenge on the ex pal for taking my bike.

I wonder when the time will come, maybe it has come, when tracking devices are fitted to cycles.

My father used to tell me, when he was at sea, anyone caught thieving from others had their fingers broken, which is not a bad idea given it is very hard to be light fingered with broken fingers.

The local tea leaves round here are wise to how good Cube's are.

One fella left his (£1500) Reaction locked up outside Asda's

Luckily it was still there when he had finished his shopping.

Not good having a brand new bike stolen, where was it stolen from? We could keep a look out as the 2011 Aim's have only been in the country for a month, so still quite rare.

M&S are very good from what I'm told, so a new bike should be on the way soon.

Unfortunately there are some tossers who feel that they can take what is not theirs. I have had this happen to me and I now have to keep my bikes locked up in my house as one was stolen from inside my locked alarmed house!

Sadly you cannot leave anything of any value anywhere nowadays.

you can't leave anything anywhere these days is the same in any day, we have always been a thieving country.

Where I used to live the motto was nick it first then find a use for it later which basically transpires as nick it because it's there

The evil mind just thinks of a spring loaded spike in the seat tube that is released when the wrong person saddles the bike without first isolating the thing because they know the thing is booby trapped.
