I was given this frame free many months ago and it sat in the shed over winter waiting for better weather for me to start tinkering .
I thought i had enough parts in my spares bin to make a full build but the shifters i had turned out to have issues as the rh shifter jammed after a few goes and then something snapped inside meaning it was toast ( the perils of second hand bits cavaet emptor ) so i scoured around and picked up a nearly new claris groupset for £40 which meant the build could go ahead.
Everything else excluding cables was from the spares bin so i reckon im into this for £50 tops and once i got my head around canti set up as i have never before had a bike with them it was good to go.
I do need to get some more frame stickers as yellow was all i had in stock ........................
Faster and lighter than my usual commuter bike so debating whether to make this my summer commuter
Since the photo i have changed to narrower bars as the 42s i had are a bit wide and fitted a longer stem
