Bought the frame & forks from Colin aka 'bhill22' a few weeks ago and thought long and hard about how to build this up. I had a Harry Hall 653 hung up with 9 speed Chorus on which I built last year and didn't really do anything with so it got stripped and the groupset made way for the 853.
It rides remarkably well, stiff, light yet comfortable too. Wheels were borrowed from my modern Ribble carbon frame but I think they suit it quite well, alongside the seatpost...
