Giving up smoking

Hope you can stick it out Dyna, I know I had friends who claimed they could stop any time but when it came to the bit, they really weren't able to last more than a week or two (if that.)

Anyway, endorphins are pretty nice, perfectly legal and good for you - as a bonus, if you're not that fit it doesn't take too much effort to get them flowing either!

Not ashamed Pieman? Have you told your employer?

If people want to ferk themselves up then I couldn't care less. I care about the excuses justifying it about as much as I care about the price of plasticine in Swaziland. It's not me you're trying to convince.

But anyone man enough to confront a difficult situation by the balls, no matter how painful, gets my respect.

Those that would rather make excuses, the weak willed, the puny of mind that would rather let a destructive chemical dependence into their lives, then be my guest. Keeps Jeremy Kyle in a job after all.

As it goes yes I have. And im not trying to get anyone to try it or to stay on it good for him if he wants to quit. Just trying to balance the arguement after all if we didnt we may aswell just read the daily mail.

Yeah, right. And it's not an argument. Were showing solidarity with someone worthy of respect. I don't believe that in this difficult time he had asked for anyone to pop up and tell him how great it is.

Yeah right to what? To having told my employer I have even smoked it infront of him at a bbq. They have no problem with it as long as its not at work and it doesnt effect work. What I do on my own time is my own concern.

Yeah right to it being an 'argument'. The guy is trying to quit a destructive chemical dependence, an illegal substance. Do you really thinks he needs to hear from you how jolly it is right at this time?

Ps, sorry for the dreadful typing. There's a chubby finger/iPhone compatibility issue at play here.

At any point have I told him to stay on it? No if he wants to stop go for it I hope he manages to quit sometimes wish I could even if just from a cash point of view. Finishing on that point I'm off to work.

cold turkey is the best way to go. cutting down never worked for me. after being addicted to speed and dope for around 5 years i found it super hard to quit but iv been off it for 6 years now and have discovered i have got an addictive personality so i have to watch what im doing. good luck mate and stick with it. :)

i give up on a regular basis now, it good to detox now and again. the dreams are ace, i quite enjoy them up to a point. though i never gave up to stop compleaty. some days are just to nice, i like to sit down and have a mint sauce moment though its good not to let it rule your life.
good luck on your quest dyna

In the UK about half the profits support organised crime, and roughly half finds its way back to the 'stans where the money is being used to fund the killing of our troops.

 a direct result of applying stupid unenforceable laws that make no sense.

legalize and tax it, make it pay for the better.
