Getting compo out of Royal Fail? Blood-stone?

This is the great thing about 'other people'; Other opinions.
And I think in principle you are totally right. In a shop situation you'd usually send the package back for refund. So totally right there.
The mistake I made was accepting the parcel, I'm so used to raggy dolls I didn't think it through as the frame can be 'fixed' to use, but now isn't what I bought. That is defo the way to do it in future, a key point to remember. A few months have lapsed now so not sure what I'll do next, continue my gripe with Pat, or sell it, it's worth letting the vendor know whats gone on but on this occasion I probably wont claim monies back through PP this time.

Thank you. :)

If it wasn't sent tracked Paypal will pay out (and you'd keep the frame)

Disagree, If you get your money back and i hope you do,it would be proper to return the frame to him.

He said it's been months so it's likely past the 45 day cut off but if it wasn't I'd be having my cake and eat it. He should have packed it properly in the first place.

I've lost out plenty to spurious Paypal claims in the past, and when it comes to sellers I strongly believe only them losing out badly will make them change their ways for the benefit of others in future. When it comes to Paypal it's definitely seller beware.
