Retro Newbie
Hi, I'm trying to get an idea of how much this bike is worth to put up for sale which belong to my late sister :(, I found just the frame only for say on ebay asking £513 so curious what price I should ask for a complete bike. I did check the serial number on the sites Advanced sports and Bikepedia without success to try and get the full specs.

Thank you to anyone who can give me advice.

The frame for 513 notes will be available for a VERY long time at that price. Sadly; in todays depressed market, what you have is not worth a huge amount. Sad times as they are good frames and there are some good bits on it 😒

Photos of the drive side would help a little. I echo what was said above. The frame at £513 will never sell for that. A fly in the ointment might be the size - small - limiting your potential market somewhat.

That said, it is interesting. Where are you located?

This is very nice and well built quality retro bike and all original. Also a bit "exotic". It demands total attention and rebuild.

Alas, no gold at the end of the rainbow in these times. At £250 it should shift from under feet.

hang on .... syncros cattleprod stem ... that worth quite a bit, and original albeit damaged logos - and the all-important top cap.

...and the syncros seatpost. Gen 2? And 350 long or the amazing 410 length? In either case it's worth quite a bit.

rather sought after after-market kit...

Thank you

It is certainly a buyers market at the moment. So £500 for a frame is only going to attract someone who really wants that specific item. It reminds me of when I bought a GT Lightning a couple of years ago. The seller was worried that he had underpriced it (he hadn't) as he had seen another Lightning on eBay for 4x the price he was selling at. That Lightning is still on eBay 2 years later.

Have a look at the sold items on eBay to get a better idea of what they sell for, rather than what sellers hope they are going to get :)

Sunn made super bikes and IMO they are underrated and overlooked. I think if you want to maximise your return on this bike you'll need to take it all apart and clean the components up. You do have some lovely parts on it as @2manyoranges says. In addition to the seat post and stem, the brakes look interesting (although I'm not sure which make they are). The risk with this approach is you might end up with parts that don't sell.

We get that. What would you actually pay and go and collect it though (which the OP is basically asking)?
