Reynolds 653 tubing built in a micro style with a 56cm horizontal top tube and bult for a 650c front wheel.
Has the following very special features:
Aero headtube
Aero fillet behind headtube and at BB
Internal routing for rear mech cable
Internal routing for rear brake
Rear brake mounted behind the BB
Wishbone style seat stays (so very clean looking with rear brake behind BB as above_
Fork designed so that front brake sits behind the crown
It is a work of art!
The bad news:
The frame had a seatpost well and truly stuck in it which has now been professionally removed by a frame builder. Unfortunately, it needed to be melted out which means that most of the frame has no paint on it!!
In structural terms the frame is as good as new.....it was built in 1996 but used less than a handful of times befoe being dry stored for 10 years...it was the standing with no use that led to the seatpost getting stuck!
I considered getting it resprayed before selling but there seems little point when my colour choice might not suit the buyer.....better that you get it done to your own tastes!
Looking for about £100 for it.......
