the recent bad weather, and being at home has given me some time for reflection. I've decided to sell my lovely late 1958/59 (F frame prefix) pre Raleigh takeover Carlton frame and fork.
Owned for some time...superbly refinished by the original owner (correct transfers, head badge, 531 sticker) in a lovely flambouyant purple/violet with delicate gold lug lining.
Nervex lugs (Legere), Zeus dropouts, condition is superb, with a deep shine, despite being an older restoration (it has a few marks/chips). In my opinion you'd have to be the king of the land of the very fussy people to want to repaint this beauty!
Size - seat tube C to C = 23", top tube C to C = 22". Braze ons - one set bottle bosses, rear mech, gear and brake cable bosses, chain hook.

Fair price - £125 (a tatty frame would cost that for quality paint and transfers). I MIGHT exchange (£ up or down) for a"London"frame: the theme my collection/collecting will now take.
Note: this is a bare frame, I was going to build up as a 10 or 12 speed Audax with centre pulls, 27" wheels etc.
