Thats mist kind . Id enter but habe one if these, albeit without fkrjs, ad a project.

Before you send it off, could you take the rear shock apart and photograph it?

How is the rear stay held to the frame, is there a pivot at the stay? Is there a damper there?

Btw the box for the frame can be smaller the rear end is remived so woukdnt b a pointless exercise.

Re:

Really? I know it isn't a Fat Chance but I'm surprised by the lack of interest. Come on fellas, some of you go to the ends of the earth to rebuild heavy entry level Konas and Hard Rocks and crap like that and you don't want a free ProFlex?

No love for the elastomers. Maybe I should hand letter the words "Fire Mountain" on the side?

One more week for interested parties to reply and then it gets recycled.

Re:

I would love the chance to own this proflex so I could build it up for the wife, to get her into riding with me and the kids. She had a off on the full rigid I built her , while we were off road riding and it has dented her confidence big time. So a full sus might be better for her to take out the bumps etc oh and she loves the colour red.

Great karma btw

 Don't recycle it!

If you are unhappy with the response here put it on eBay - I'm sure you'll get a buyer.

I need this frame in my life as I currently own and ride old Marins......and after reading the "What makes you a fan of a certain brand...?" thread it seems I need an education in retro-biking! (someone's got to love 'em right?) ;) :)

Hi, i would love this in my life for many reasons, most of them vacuous, paltry, spurious, vain, wanton, however, i doubt i could afford the postage being a healthcare worker. Owning this great design would allow me to ride a great piece of engineering while becoming single, a good thing on both counts, as my GF has stated she will leave me if i get another cycle, even if i gave away all my other bikes, which i could do if i had this. Oh, and it is RED after all.
