Hmm, no one near me then. I've got a couple of old bald Schwalbe's somewhere I could fit - if I could be bothered with a 30+ mile round trip to do it.

Seemingly this is a new tyre for Conti, and as such they'd like riders to use them, and then provide feedback on them

From 15th May until July 31st, Continental are running a special promotion to celebrate the introduction of our new Grand Sport Race tyre. We want keen cyclists to try these tyres out for free! All we ask in return is that you hand over your old tyres (any non Continental brand) and that you also provide us with some feedback on your experiences with the new tyres, via the feedback form on this website.

My nearest shop is listed (Start Cycles in Newcastle). I contacted them for details to make sure it wasn't going to be a wasted trip as it seemed too good to be true, and it's a good job I did, as they said they weren't taking part, even though they're listed on Conti's website as one of the participating dealers.

It may be worth checking before you head out!
