Framesaver or helicoil for rear hanger?

My Bonded Ti Dynatech hanger looks to have given up (it was damaged (by me) and straightened (by local frame builder)) and wont hold a bolt properly - if I tighten properly I reckon it will strip

Picked up a Framesaver bolt from SJS but I can't decide if it is the best way forwards - as it is a permanent mod

Had thought about getting the frame painted but being bonded it has to be wet paint not powder coat so possibly more £££ than its really worth - esp if I add in the cost of fixing the hanger

Any words of wisdom / encouragement before I take a heffering great drill to my much loved Dynatech?

Re:

I bought a cheap helicoil kit from Ebay for a frame i had and it was fine ,
just make sure its all square when you drill it and away you go :D
still got the frame saver option if it goes Pete Tong .

Cheers Paul
