On one of my bikes have a 05 or 06 f80. Not touched since new  so I reckon it might want a service.

Anyone done these DIY? Done loads of Rock Shox forks and shocks (trained on them for what little thats worth) but never Fox. Can you even get the service kits online?

Otherwise think I'll send them to tftuned, assume he does a good job on Fox?

Evans do Fork servicing, Mate has just put his Fox forks in for a service mainly due to them being half price of TFtuned. :? Can report the outcome when he gets them back.

My Fox F32 forks on my Rocky have gone off for their first service this week. Took the whole bike into where I got the bike from. They remove the forks, send them off to Mojo (who upgrade them to the latest spec) and reassemble the bike when they come back. Plus you get an extra years warranty thrown in. Costs £92 but worth it as the forks cost £600 to buy new.

Mojo have info on their website on how to send them back and a form to fill in with you requirements.

Taking the lowers off to regrease is pretty straight forward, though you do need the correct fluids. I've done some vanillas a few times. Never touched the damping though

hmm never serviced forks either.

Always figured at £100 a chuck service, get three or four years out of them and they are done its prolly time for new set of forks anyway if service cannot sort it.

Had rear shock done by TFT though, cos that had a leaky can. Quick and sent back all old bits too whcih I liked. Not cheap mind, but cheaper than a new shock.

My view on Fox forks servicing is radical, controvercial, but quite well known.

Step 1 take them off the bike

Step 2 put them on Ebay

Step 3 use the cash to buy some Marzocchi forks

Step 4 there is no step 4, the Marzocchis will just keep working.

 maybe not.

Really happy with the Fox so I'd prefer to service them. I find generally mechanical things when used do need servicing on occasion. Bikes, cars. You get the idea. Reckon i might send them to tftuned. By the time I pull my finger out it'll be christmas.

Either Mojo or TFTuned

Mojo do my Vanilla RC's for DH and TFT does my 02 Boxxers.

Always been that way, mention you work for a shop (even if you don't) and TF will generally give you a slightly better price.....
