My dad had 3 over the years so ive kind of grown up with them
The last one he owned was the mk3 Ghia in a kind of metallic blue,the vinyl roof was just laid over the metal one,a facade really and if you owned 3 different Cortina keys you could open any one of them

very true! one night in my distant youth coming back from the judo club, my father stopped the car and asked me if our car, a bright yellow mk3 cortina with a wind back webasto sun roof was an auto or a manual?
auto I replied why?
shit! I've been changing gears for the last 6 miles so this aint our car! when we got back to leisure center car park there was a very irate fella talking to a police man next to the spot we had just drove off out, he did see the funny side of it in the end though after his keys unlocked our car and started it!

Slow, gutless, Handles like a six seater sofa and do not get wet they rust abit

Good old British sports car feel (if you want the real deal buy an MR2 :? ) if you do buy this you will become very good at setting twin carbs, on the plus side cool car

What can I say, its from when the Germans knew how to make cars These are one of my all time fav cars just beware of rusty ones it will empty your pockets quicker than the wife

Ps all the above cars have Pooh brakes, mpg, steering, etc etc compared to modern cars.
