very true! one night in my distant youth coming back from the judo club, my father stopped the car and asked me if our car, a bright yellow mk3 cortina with a wind back webasto sun roof was an auto or a manual?
auto I replied why?
shit! I've been changing gears for the last 6 miles so this aint our car! when we got back to leisure center car park there was a very irate fella talking to a police man next to the spot we had just drove off out, he did see the funny side of it in the end though after his keys unlocked our car and started it! :lol:

Ps all the above cars have Pooh brakes, mpg, steering, etc etc compared to modern cars.
