This sort of complements my "Wanted" rant.

So, why is it peeps will sell something without a photo and with minimal description.

For instance.

"For sale. XT front mech. £25"

Not even an M number to get us started.No picture. And when asked if it's top pull or bottom they have no idea what you are on about. And go on to say." Yeh, it came off my 2001, Kona/GT/moutain bike, and it was working fine"

Really ? And as for top/bottom swing.Forget it.

I'm sure they're nice guys but pleeeeeese.
A photo would answer most Q's..........


And then there are those that can't take a half decent photo. I'm not expecting something award winning, just in focus/sharp and able to tell a potential buyer what he needs to know.


And the worse work bit is................they end up actually selling it !

I'm off for a lie down and to decide if I wish to to sell my 8 speed XT shifters with OGI's..........................

How many frames or bikes do you see for sale without the size :?

I tend to just skip ads without pics etc. unless it's something I particularly want.

But what I find more irritating is the ones that either don't read the rules (let's face it they are right there, at the top of the section, in capital letters) or, even worse, are fully aware of the rules but choose to give them a big f*** you and disregard them anyway.
