Been at home this week so thought it was about time Alfie tried his first bike.

Couple of laps of the garden later and he is loving it!

But hey, when a friend says 'you can have my lads bike, he's only ridden it once round the lounge and has outgrown it' I'm not going to say no

Yup, I can safely say he is hooked.

Whenever we go into the garden he always runs up to my shed and wants to go in! So far I have taught him spokes, forks and tyres. Ask him any and he can point to and say them.

Lesson 2 is planned for tomorrow, where he will learn frame, hub and chainset

You could turn it into a balance bike by removing the cranks & stabilizers, it would help him get used to the idea of balancing on a bike
