I rediscovered this today, whilst doing a bit of rim and wheel sorting prior to a build. They are very uncommon these days, and this is in extraordinary condition - absolutely true, no dings, logo intact and fully attached, bearings incredibly smooth. Eyeletted. They were OEM fitment for a very short time at Orange - during 1996 IIRC. Regarded as a better rim than the 231 and 217 at the time - as light, stronger; I agree - they are really lovely things.

Because of condition and rarity: 75:00 plus postage to UK mainland

Would it be a thread hijack to mention this almost matching front I have no use for? :)

Actually I think not quite the same rim - this is the type with the concave braking surface... and came with a '97 C16R

...it's tight and true, LX hub has been serviced with new balls and grease, unfortunately there is a slight ding/bulge on the rim which is hard to detect visually but can be felt when braking.

Usable but not perfect. £35 plus post?

I have a front similar, same rim bit on an XT hub.... OEM wheel that could do with a matching rear ....
