Just seen these RaceFace Prodigy XC crank arms on eBay from 2002 and was wondering if anyone knows the quality of these and what Shimano equivalent would have been. Deore, LX, XT etc?
I have a pair in white powder coat. I think they're durable and pretty lightweight. Definitely look cool. They're higher quality than the Shimano A crankset they replaced but I'm not sure I like the bottom bracket. They're pretty lightly used but I still had to re-torque the arms after the first few rides before they seated and stayed tight. I have them set up with a single 38t chainring. Not sure if they're higher quality than the STX RC I have on another bike though.
