So a few updates on this ‘very very slow’ build.

I’ve got wheels, chainset/cranks, cassette, mech, shifte, handlebars, Stem, tyres

And I’ve got some new 97 decals from Gil, these look amazing and so much better than the old ones I got from Gill years ago. The black outline on the main Kona logo is much slimmer

I’m going disc (due to the Kona factory added disc tab and the design to be a modern rider). Any recommendations on what is the maximum size rotor I can put on the back? @al-onestare?

Swapped out the stem and handlebars for a Thomson 100m 0 degree rise and a pair of Easton EC90 SL’s and took her for another ride

It really does, feels like the acceleration when you put your put your foot down (so to speak) is lot more lively than my Hot and possibly alloy frames I’ve ridden.

Atm I think this is my favorite bike to ride!
