Fate? Today I find my turbos buggered

Is it fate that finds a PM in your inbox offering a good price for the least ridden retrobike in the garage?

Is it fate that you accept and are delivering it on Sunday?

Is it fate that a bearing goes in my cam belt follower that, if it had seized, would have thrown the engine out?

Is it then fate that means I now have the money to pay for the repairs?

Or just sheer bloody bad luck as that money was to pay towards Christmas... :roll:

yes - shame to see it go but, what the hey.

and now the turbo is buggered.

Should have replaced the whole car when my instincts told me so last month.

So. Its had a new sump, clutch, front suspension, cambelt, MAF/MAP sensors and now the turbo...

anyway - disconnecting the wastegate will allow me to carry on driving for a while until I can afford the bugger.
