Fat City Cycles Yo Eddy fork Vs. BOI (Big One Inch):my forks

I think there’s basically the following variations of A-C lengths (feel free to add/correct):

Original Yo around 390mm, pre suspension era

The 1” legged Yo that came on the 10th Anniversary Fat in 1992 that I think was still 390mm

The BOI officially introduced in 1993, with short suspension travel correction for early ~2” travel forks, around 405mm long

A few rare “proper” Yo forks with short sus correction, ~405mm like the 1993 BOI above but with the burlier 1-1/8” legs… very rare as most Yo’s were being fitted with suspension in 1993/1994, and at this point the BOI was becoming the only rigid fork

Some later (maybe 1996 ish?), slightly longer BOI forks at about 410mm? To cater for ~2.5” travel frames?

And the last edition of the longest 420mm BOI forks for the last NY era frames which had geometry for slightly more suspension (circa 3”) again.

I was going to list this on eBay about five minutes ago and have been deep diving into what exactly I am holding to accurately convey the information to potential buyers in the Item Description area. But if this is what I think it is, then well...I guess I am shopping for a frame!

About three years ago I inquired with ya'll and the answer wasn't quite clear. After finding this thread through a general online search as well as others made by Scott Bengston (your appeal to authority) elsewhere online, I am almost certain this fork is rarer still than the BOI, I thought I had a BOI, but I do not. If anyone can argue one way or the other, I am very happy to update this post with corrected information!

I am the second owner of the fork. The fork was pulled off of an early 90's Stumpjumper Team (which I have since sold) that the original owner bought new along with the YO Eddy! fork and where he raced in the Swiss circuit for some years. When I picked up the bike he made it clear several times that the fork 'cost him a lot of money'. He was in love with this fork like saying goodbye to an old girlfriend. Additionally, I had no idea what a YO Eddy! even was let a lone a magical fork. I even asked if he still had the original fork! At any rate...

The lengths/measurements, weight and appearance puts this fork as a pre-BOI, YO Eddy! fork that has the correction for short suspension as outlined above by @OldFatTi.

Utilizing information from this thread and measuring myself I have come up with:

Threaded steer tube: 1" dia
Thread length: 30 mm
Steer tube length: 130 mm (to bottom of crown)
Inner diameter of steerer tube at the bottom: 18.7 mm (approx.)
steerer tube thickness at the bottom: 3.8 mm (approx.)
Axle to crown: 390 mm
Blade length: 375 mm (axle to top of leg)
Blade diameter: 1 1/8"
Bottom of dropout to bottom of crown: 405 mm
Total length: 515 mm
Stress Gusset (tear drop material welded to upper portion of the blades) length: 54 mm
Width of blades overall highest point: 132 mm
Top of blade to center of brake post: 123 mm (approx.)
Weight: 780 grams

If this is indeed real, then I need a frame to go with the fork. Thank you!
