Kaiser, this is your Yo speaking.

Please don't cast me out- I promise to try and compensate for your lack of skills and will make you look good on the trails, I look so nice and if you care for me and do a proper period build for once in your life- and that means tyres too- then I will be the best bike you will ever own.

so heartfelt :D

Well I never did get this one done :( had an offer I couldn't refuse and it always looked like it might be a bit small. Anyway new project coming soon :D and not a million miles away.

And it has landed at Dr S towers, but drama is unfolding!

What are those suspect bubbles above the BB on the seat tube??

Holy cow, theres holes down there. Oh no!

Will it survive? will it need a new seat tube?

Tune in next week kids for the latest gripping instalment

He swapped it for a SAB so one fat in one fat out is not such a sad story I suppose.

Days of Our Fat?

or

Days of Our Yo??

Either way its a gripping story, I hear that in next weeks episode Si makes a phone call... ;)

It didn't look too bad when i got it out of the blast cabinet, 4 holes about 1 to 1.5mm in diameter. I have blasted out the inside of the tube and had a look down with an endoscope and there is some pitting. Its going to a good local frame builder (Kevin Winter) on friday and I will ask him to suggest a cure. Fingers crossed!

Any news Si?

No not really. Kev is really busy and I havn't had time to take it down yet. Most of the parts are sorted though. Just need to decide on a stem and bar. If I have time I'm going to make a one piece combo for it myself.
Still can't decide on a colour either. Could be a long journey this one

I reckon stock colors are best 8) Look forward to seeing it. Have you considered other frame builders for the repair work, might sped things up?

Gimme a shout if you decide to sell the frame, OK? :)
