Hello all,
I popped this up in the "How much......" section but no takers on a guesstimate yet and as I could do with it moved as I need to get myself a seriously upright bike quick!
As stated over there, I picked this up from a chap that was using it to pootle to the shops and back (hence the adjustable nasty stem, Easton flat bars and not being too clean! (I probably should have cleaned it!)
Bright Red with Yellow graphics (needs some replaced as missing) Wicked Lite and fork No: 426W08 (which denotes a 1990 Medium Frame I think?!)
What look like specialized rims on a shocktech front hub and XT rear. 600 Tricolour rear mech, XT front, suntour XC pro chainset, XTR cantis, sachs gripshift. Frame has a few chips and scratches but no dings or repairs and there is a wee bit of chain rash as per pictures. Looks like the original owner put a big protective strip on the downtube! If I had the time I would strip it, prob get powder coated and build back up. This one is too small but I am sure of you are looking at this you know just how beautifully compliant a ride they are!
Don't want to split ideally and I know I could make more by doing this but alas, new baby and bulged disc mean none of that for me!
Thus, and indeed taking a punt on value here and having a cheeky look through ebay for the shocktech hubs, XTR cantis etc..£350?
If I am well out please do say. Paypal gifts or cash on collection from Perth Scotland. More than happy to post at buyers expense or indeed (as it will prob be cheaper for you) package up for your own collection.
