I was thinking about getting the fade on the Judy's I have but was talked out of it, got some nice refurbed yellow ones to go on now once it's painted.
Hhhhmmm, not got my hands dirty much lately, unless you count cutting a cord and subsequent related decorating ... ;-)
Collected a few more bits though
This lot will be mated with some new bits to make a nice ringle / DKG clamp assembly :
Some NOS loveliness :
Does anyone need any fat chance brakes disks laser cut in stainless ?
I transferred them to CAD and have had some cut as a favour for an American fat owner - PM me with any interest ;-)

Sadly I don't. Love the work you're doing on the frame but that fork is too flexy to match the Yo's ride. Next to that I won't trust a (Chinese?) ti fork with that weight to work with a added disc tab. Just saying
I am seeing if VeloCals will do me a colour coded set for under the clear coat
The matching fork mount turned up (stainless to match the rear ) :
These are the new cable stops, the closest matching style I could find :
The weld tabs still needed to go though :
Clockwise - machined off tabs, original triple, edges hand finished :
Brake delivery number one :
With NOS disks :
Hub and brake delivery number two :
Amongst other things, new bearings will be fitted throughout :
The disk showed some signs of corrosion, a bit strange really as I thought they were stainless ? :
A oxalic acid bath, a seeing to with the dremel, a flatting off and a good scrub later :
Not perfect, but pretty good :
Rubber cable seals seem to be in short supply for these callipers, the entry ones are good but the only exit one I have is a little torn :-( :
Once clean, the best way I have found to restore rubber is to paint it in gold class and seal it up until needed. The gold class is really penetrating stuff and after a long term soaking, when the excess is wiped off they will stay new looking :
Just for a laugh and whilst I am on the fat theme, I post a lot of envelopes through eBay and thought it would be good to invest in a stamp - when I spotted you could upload a logo the choice was easy ...
