If you dont Like or appreciate England then Sod off abroad!..

no body else will have me

As someone who has sodded-off abroad, I had a look at whether I would be eligible to move to the UK if I weren't English (or from the EU).

And the answer is ...... no.

As far as I can tell, if you're a 19 year old with 3 degrees, a PhD and 25 years work experience in a relevant sector (no clues what that might be), plus have a couple of million in realisable assets, you might just get on the waiting list.

19 years old with 25 years of experience is pretty remarkable. I would have thought you would get in no problem as a curiosity if nothing else.

Think if I had gone to live in Singapore, my only interest in England would be the odd visit <shrug>

a school i went too yesterday for biking were having an england week...every one has the choice to not wear the uniform and could dress up in english attire ie football strip and red and white make up.....never seen so many huge grins in one place....cept for the house at the end of the street where all those pretty girls live....hmmmm

I did, and I should have done it much sooner.
But nowhere is safe from World Cup hysteria.
Looking forward to the day after the final match, TBH.

Wouldn't put the flags on my car but can't say I'm too bothered about others doing it. I think it's good that people who are interested have something to look forward to over the next few weeks. Must admit I love watching England (or Leeds) with a big group of folk and get a buzz from the highs and lows.

I love this country.. am not particularly patriotic though.

And prefer the Imperial German flag...

I love a bit of bunting!

The more flags, banners, painted garage doors etc the better I reckon.
