Elswick 54cm

retrotrack

Retro Guru
Hi all,

got this lovely Elswick I'd like to sell please.

This bike has sat for the last 25 years unridden. It needs a service in the form of new tyres, brake and gear cables, also needs non-drive crank arm tightening/ replacing (I don't have a socket thin enough)

This is a really nice starting point for anyone who is looking for a small project. Nothing is stuck, bent, cracked or damaged so once everything has been cleaned and all various parts replaced this will be a fantastic bike.

size: 54cm top-tube (centre to centre) 54cm seat-tube (centre to top)

. Sakei cock-pit
. Shimano 600 front mech + rear mech, shifters
. Shimano 600 brake calipers + levers
. Shimano 600 hubs, rigida rims (8/10 true)
. Sistar chainset

I feel £90 posted is a fair amount

It looks in a bad way; needs some work to restore! What's your very best £price posted to South Wales?

Hi,

doesn't need a huge amount of work, pretty much everything is there and everything is quality.

I think £89 for this bike is extremely fair.

If you did want it I've got a suitable box and could get it out ASAP.

Im interested, but what is the mark at the top of the down tube? Just above the levers?

Cheers,
Matt

Matt,

it's just a mark in the paint which has bubbled up. I've check behind all lugs and the rest of the frame and this is the only part missing paint and everything feels flush and straight.
