1995-96 Norco Team Issue.

I read a thread of his that said it was made in Taiwan. But the sticker makes me think Canada.

I have a 95 Diamond Back WCF Vertex that has a sticker saying it was made in China and other people online have said there's was made in Taiwan. So maybe depending on the batch of frames being built or being behind schedule with an order they were made in different places??? Or maybe the early one's were Canadian built and later one's in Taiwan???

Either way it makes very little difference to me. I was mostly just curious about it. The welding is really clean on it and it rides really well. That's all that matters to me.

If it was built in Canada I wonder if they had in house welder's or jobbed it out? I'm Canadian bike challenged. I know there has to be a bunch of guys doing amazing work there. The only Canadian bike company I can think of off the top of my head is CCM. Which if I remember correctly is like the Huffy of Canada.

Let's not get to insulting ccm now, they were the schwinn of Canada, only the quality was higher. As for actual made in Canada mtb brands, look to Rocky Mountain. They're the big boys, before 92 almost everything was made here. Some claim kona is Canadian, but headquarters has been in Washington for years.
