ebay twat number 101 how hard is it to read

If you agree to a "mutual cancellation", you will lose your Final Valuation Fees, and the buyer may leave you negative feedback with no comeback, so the only option is to file a NPB/claim back your FVF/block them. You still won't get back your listing fees, but you will be able to re-list for free.
I do stand to be corrected on any of the above
If the buyers "Engrish" wasn't up to scratch then he should have asked a question before he bought/bid, that is what the option is there for.

Was SHOUTINGLY clear from your description, but I do get annoyed when people don't just put a pic of what they are selling.
I want to see what I'm getting, not have to interpret some often incoherent description. (In general, not specifically your ad)

read it from the point of view of someone expecting a full bike and not someone reading this thread and its not that clear at all...

Agreed, it's asking for trouble, with photos of a full bike, when it's only the frame and some components being sold.

Sure, the description may be accurate, but that's not the point.

1. the photos should always be representative of what you're bidding on, not what you're bidding on plus a whole load of other stuff you're not going to get - not everybody is completely savvy with a subject

2. it's completely predictable that people may not read the description that well, comprehend it, or take the time to properly understand - so accepting that, and making your own life simple, means it's always best for the photos to not misrepresent the items of the auction (regardless of the description) - if for nothing else, making your own life easy

Sorry mate but you forgot to include in your description the three golden rules of happy Ebaying...

ONE: photograph only what you're selling

TWO: UK only

THREE: no thickies

I'll get me coat

I still think you're courting trouble for yourself, there.

Sure, you can say you've tried to make it clearer, but from where I'm sat, it may not be that obvious to people not that au fait with buying bikes or parts on ebay.

Truth be told, I don't think it helps your cause to call your previous bidder a "pratt" - several people have called you on the folly of photos of the full bike, when that's not what you're selling, and as you are actually selling some parts with the frame, surely you can see how some would get the wrong end of the stick.

For your own sanity, it's always best to only have photos of what you're actually selling.

Similar thing happened to me a few weeks ago,I sold two mavic crossride wheels and said in my listing that one was disc and v brake and one was v brake only and one twenty spoke and one twenty four spoke
The buyer then gave me neutral feedback saying they are two different wheels and the seller knows nothing about bikes
Follow up feedback for him equalled;Buyer should go to school and learn to read :!: Illiterati are everywhere on fleabay it would seem
don't worry dan if at first you don't succeed
