Ebay tw.t no.124

Old School Grand Master
I was bidding on a pair of broken answer manitou sx ti's c1999 with tpc (you may have realised I quite like these) and was winning them at 99 pence  :D A few minutes ago the bloke pulls the listing with about 12 hours to go I send him an e;mail to say that I am not pleased and if he wanted more money he should have put a reserve on them and I offer him £15 as they are damaged he says I made a mistake in my listing and will relist tommorrow  The point is I am getting a bit fed up with spurious reasons for cancellations  I sell lots of stuff on ebay and always start at 99 p for the free listing entry, but if I wanted more and would be less than pleased to get 99p then I would put a reserve on the item  Is this wrong :?: tut tut tut for him and the rest of them

Yeah, I've won loads like this as the only bidder including my best buy, a pair of nice wheels for a penny, so happy to take one on the chin occasionally.

yer its gutting when this happens !!
i was bidding on a set of klein grips ( quite a healthy amount) but i was the only bidder so the start amount was low. a day before the auction ended i had my bid cancelled.. with no explanation as why ? .. i contacted the seller who said they had sold them privately !!! what a t**t !! dont list them on e-bay then !! he has now banned me from bidding on his items as i basically told him how it was .....

If there's no bids, I can see why some people pull the auction.. but pulling it when there's bids is just shitty imo..

I won a roof rack for the Trooper (was a massive affair built for a Tourneo Transit) for a quid... asked the seller when I could go get it and never received a response.
Now I know why he wouldn't want to let it go for a quid, probably cost a coupla hundred quid.. but it's not my fault nobody else bid and he didn't have the common sense or intelligence to put a reserve on it

I sold a large mirror for 99p 4 months ago and its still not been collected. Its not the amount its the fact I want it out of the way.
