Ebay refund

Last weekend I bought some Pace RC31 ti forks on Ebay. They were described as 420mm a-c with NO damage to the carbon.
THey arrived yesterday , and are actually 440mm with a crack in the back of one leg.
I Emailed the vendor asking for a full refund, which he has duly provided.
However, it will take 7-9 days for this to reach my account. Is this usual, or is he taking the pi55? :x

i had a refund off a guy a little while back, it took a while because he had to do it by e cheque, the transaction showed on my account but didn't clear till about 5-7 days later.

Had a few Ebay refunds in the past month (for the first time ever)

Painless and money seemed to be credited to my Paypal account (and back into my credit card) immediately.

PayPal are quite good with this. If it's obvious that the other party is at fault, they'll credit your account and debit the other party's one without their agreement. Lesson is - always pay by Paypal .... just in case!
