Are you considering selling the tyres? I could put them on my Stumpy ;)

They do have that 'H' on them so that would make sense......thanks, do really like this bike, enjoying the project!

I'm keeping the tyres for now, but will let you know if I ever do offload them......the Shimano M700 Deore XT range came out in 1983 so slightly predates this, but who knows their logic! , maybe XT just sounded cool...!
