Early Moulded Carbon framed mtb?

I've done a couple of searches and this exact bike has been floating around in this condition for about 10 years. There have been a couple of posts on different forums, including here in 2014, asking for help identifying it.

The components appear more recent than the f&f.

Doesn't ooze class like a Formula or a Kestrel, more mass produced in Taiwan with a badge on it kind of thing.

Better photos of the frame would certainly help their cause.

I'm pretty sure this is a Taiwanese carbon Frame, similar ones have been sold from a number of rather me-too brands in mid nineties.

I think it's the very same bike

just comparing the "ASTA" Bike

with a carbon frame sold mid-90ies from the me-too brand Biria in Germany


That looks pretty similar and I'm sure I have seen similar ones with different labels / badges too.

Another reason to say, this is just a typical Taiwanese carbon Frame, nothing early or manufactured from a innovative brand.
