Catalogue Early Litespeed Leaflet, can you please help to date this?

I would say no earlier than 89. It mentions oversize steerer and stem options and as far as I know 1" 1/8 didnt become a thing until the 1990 range of bikes, released at some point in 89. Everyone's 89 range of bikes were either 1" steerer and Fisher and perhaps a few others on the 1" 1/4 size but I expect they would have referred to that as 'evolution' in the catalogue as was common at the time. Also I dont recal litespeed making parts in 1" 1/4 which also makes me think they are talking about 1" 1/8. Just my guess anyway..

I agree with gtturbo. I’d say 1989, or maybe early 1990. Good find Joglo, your archives are always fantastic!

I think 1990. Why? 1989 they had other decals. Here a picture from 1989-12 MBA

And here is an advertisement from 1990-12

yeah, good point,
just too me the 1989 12 picture shows already a 1990 season bike, with equal decals as shown in the 1990 brochure in the archive.

The decals on the leaflet with the jet above are indeed more like the season 1991 bikes. Your advert from 12 1990 fit's also to this, as very likely already bikes for coming season had been available this late in the year.

Our other brochure in the archive for 1991 is more complete and the iconic Titan segmented MTB fork has than already curved legs, and the stems aren't black and from angle and style so end of 80ties any longer.

Maybe with that it's should be something like a mid season 1990 or early 91 leaflet?

Still want to post it to the archive with a proper date
