Dura ace freewheel removal

Tool is on its way for a holiday in the sun (without me, sadly)!
You might need an extra long QR spindle to secure the tool snugly on to the freewheel at the start (the tool adds quite a lot to the effective axle length). Maybe a modern rear MTB one? I don't know how soft the metal on the Dura-Ace freewheel is, but I know from experience that 2-dog Regina ones are easy to destroy, like the mangled one Shaun showed earlier...

Yep, you really do need to make sure the remover is held rock solid against the freewheel........who thought of this design should be shot at dawn ! We often gave up with regina's and simply took the sprockets off and put the remainder of the freewheel in a vice, destroying everything but the wheel!

Glad you found one :D

edit...........I found my Dura Ace freewheel and remover in the garage, just thought I'd post the pic.
