Do I post it in pre or post 98?

Should it be in the Pre 98 or Post 98 Section?

Well, I am going to do the build thread later for my Saracen which is finally finished. But, I cant decide where to put it. Its a 97 frame, but its a retromod ride and laced with parts that are all very much post 98.

So, is this a retro bike or not?

Help!

Don't know.

I hope this helps?

al.

>97 of course; doesn't matter what you hang off it, the frame was still made in '96 (or even earlier depending how long it sat about before being built)

The frame was built in 1997 or earlier, so definitely the -> 1997 section.

Retromod shouldn't be important, even though you can expect some flak from the purists. Me, I love retromods.

This.

To me the frame age dictates the section of the forum it should go into

Cheers chaps, its what I thought but just wasnt sure. And yes I love a good retromod, I like the older frames but like them even more with the added luxury of modern parts.

Special thanks to Al for really giving the most useful advice and being wholly responsible for actually convincing me that it should be pre 97, what a legend...
