Do any SPD models have float?

Just wondering if there are any SPD pedals (past or present) that have a decent amount of float, preferable comparable to the 20° of Time TBT road pedals?

The m520 is occasionally listed as 4° degrees but there's little info on others (maybe because there is no float?)

Maybe I'd be better off going with ATAC? Do they fit to the spd mounts and allow walking as spds do?

Cheers, David

Crank bros pedals have a fair amount to of float. I use them myself as I've bad knees (hopefully they aren't why my knees are bad).

onza HOs have 5 or 10 degrees, depending on how you have the cleat... if you can find the cleats...

Crank bros have a fair bit, as do the Time's.

All three fit SPD shoes and allow walking.

Re:

If you need more than 10 degrees float i would suggest using speedplay frogs they have 25 degrees float so no worries about your knees anymore (was my problem with SPD's)

Are they spd cleat fitting though?
Afraid not.
They don't use SPD cleats, but they do use the same bolt centres and threads, soi are compleltely interchangeable. Think it was only the very first time pedals/cleats that used a different bolt centre, and they've long since been discontinued (probably 20 years ago)

So now, they ALL use SPD bolt centres. And all of them allow you to walk in the shoes, except a couple of oddballs which are a bit awkward (Frogs and Bebop from memory)
