Are there such a thing?

Excuse my ignorance...im venturing into roadie type geometry for the first time with an On-One Pompetamine...kinda cross/road frame which runs discs.
So, id like 700c rims but disc only, which i can run 32c road tyres.

I know I could use 29er rims, but are they suitable for 'road' tyres, or am i right in thinking they would be too wide?

Any examples or pics much appreciated.

interestingly, even though its a disc only frame On-One are selling them running standard 700c rims...so I wonder if this is an issue they discovered themselves when speccing.

29er rims would work, but I would buy Rigida Sputniks, myself; strong and cheap. They're rim brake, but that's OK, they will work with discs.

Failing that, the Zac 2000 is available as disc-only. But it isn't as good.

thanks for the advice.

im deffinately only after disc specific rims though..the mavics look worth investigating

can anyone explain why 29" rims would work...yet 700c rims (which are intended for my frame) are also rreferred to as 622 or 28"?

Confused.com.... I just wants a pair of disc rims for me frame!
