I bought one of these the other month however the net doesnt through alot up about them apart from some fourm user reviews saying yeah its good. Anyone shed some light on it regards to year, Were it sat in the model list ie bottom of the pile /ok/good :shock:

Not sure, they're a bit after my timeframe, I'd say '98-2000.

I picked one up from a 2nd hand shop but moved it on quite quickly. Seem to remember dating it around 1997? Mine had a XT/LX groupset with Mavic rims on LX hubs so it would have been a half decent bike when new.

It's got Mavic rims and the LX hub along with Delore shifters etc

I think it may have been only in the 1998 range. It was £850, db 7005, RS Judy T2, LX kit, X138 on LX wheels. There were Zetec 1.2 and 2.2 models at lower prices, presumably sharing the same frame, and a Zetec Team Issue at £2,350, which had an Easton Elite frame. No 1998 Zetecs are listed in Bikepedia for some reason, but they only list bikes sold in the USA and maybe it wasn't sold in the USA that year, I don't know.
