Wanted debut bike. HELP!

Aware this is a (slightly!) broader ask than most requests below....

I'm on the hunt for my first vintage road bike.
Looking for a relatively standard issue bike, for general city riding and the occasional longer trip. I.e nothing that'll be stolen from a London lamppost within 3 mins. Perhaps something Reynolds 531?
Main idea is something v. reliable and ready to ride - for unfortunately i'm without the customary shed full of bits.
I'm 6"2 - not sure exactly what size this translates to but I think 58-60cm? do correct me if wrong.

I don't want to be restricted to a budget - but needless to say i'm not looking at the full campy fitted show bike end of the spectrum.

Sell me your bikes! (or at least tell me where to look).

If i were going to do this i’d go no higher than 531 or equivalent. Although I really like the carlton carrerra in burgundy or the kermesse, or raleigh stuff around the triathlon/quadra level.

If I were locking a bike up in London, I'd go for something that looks tired, disheveled and lots of patina or rattlecan. Nothing to stop it being a mechanically competent thoroughbred underneath , but definitely something that doesn't catch the eye
