hi all. i have a dawes horizon. i would like to ask, when did dawes start/finish making the horizon? also, could anyone date mine from a pic, component list or serial number please? also, where would i find the serial number ? thanks

Pretty much. 501 didnt appear until 1983 and those decals appeared around 1984 onward. It could even be as late as 1989 as I have a Peugeot with the exact same chainset and gears as yours from 88/89

I understand that the dawes records have been lost or something and so trying to date by serial number is almost impossible throughout certain ages?
