Dawes Ascent

I've spotted several Dawes Ascents on various classified and auction sites and its a bike that appeals to me, The bike is White/Yellow with a reynolds 500 frame and 18 gears with cantibrakes which look of the cyclo-X ilk.

Does anyone know what year or decade this model is from as it looks 1980's or early 90's to me.

I think if I can track one down at the right price and size I'll add one to my collection

Thinking about it Kaiser,

A good lower end spec Brit bike from early 90's would sit better with me in that my MTB past started at rock bottom spec and never got much higher. I never aspired to the bikes I now actually own and would like to re engage with my low tech mtb past.

Also I just like the yellow/white colour scheme
