This is actually a mates bike.
The frame is 853, in an 18" flavour
There are no dents or damage although there are a few rust spots creeping through. The workmanship on the frame is lovely, right down to the Ritchey socket style dropouts.
The kits is a mix of modern-ish Shimano Deore (rear mech, shifters, v brakes) and more period (beautiful Pulstar hubs, titec Hellbent bars) and all is in very good, working condition - just needs a clean!
There is, however, one issue: the seatpost is stuck!
I haven't had a go at shifting it myself and the owner has only tried moving it with hand-force on the saddle - it may come free with some brute force. However, in my opinion the frame warrants some refurb anyway and would looks stunning with a respray so may be best to just get the post melted out whilst getting the respray sorted.
The bike is in Wrexham.
After £400
