I see it more as touché to be honest. If someone is going to make silly offers and to be honest cheeky ones, then I think it's right they are spoken to with the same contempt. Sorry, I didn't realise that if someone was new that they weren't allowed to reply to rude people. Please take your condescending attitude to someone who will accept it, because I won't. And just because I'm new, I shouldn't have to keep my mouth shut. I can imagine you people are the type of cyclists that don't go by the rules of the road to be honest. ie traffic light jumpers and pavement crawlers. So, because of your attitudes towards me, this beautiful retro bike would never end up in your possession. If you want to spend £400, then go and buy Halfords Apollo top of the range.
